We are Millar Electrics Limited
Established in 1990 Millar Electrics are experts in their trade and respected and trusted across the South West of Scotland.
All types of electrical work are welcome from domestic to commercial. We are located within 1 hour of Glasgow to our North and Dumfries to our South. We are within 30 minutes drive of all parts of Ayrshire.
We currently have a team of 23 qualified electricians and 3 office staff.
We do extensive work for many large businesses. We also have several contracts with local authorities where we are responsbile for large-scale installation and refurbishment works and some where we provide a 24-7 responsive callout service.
Our team
We have a team of 26 employees, many having worked with us for 10 years or more. We have 2 staff members who served their apprenticeships with us in the last 5 years.
Jim Millar, Director
With over 40 years of electrical experience Jim is the Director and Visionary Leader of the company. Overseeing operations Jim meets with customers, manages workloads and staff and still finds the time to work on jobs and get his hands dirty.
Tom McHugh, Accounts
A qualified accountant with 40 years working experience, for 10 years Tom has
managed the financials of Millar Electrics, ensuring customers, suppliers, staff and the bank are all kept happy!
